Summary |
PopAI brings together security professionals, artificial intelligence scientists, and various researchers and experts. The central vision of popAI is to foster trust in artificial intelligence for security domain through increased awareness, ongoing social engagement, consolidation of various knowledge spheres (including theoretical and empirical knowledge from academics and non-academics), and providing a unified European vision through Law Enforcement Agencies, while creating an ecosystem that will form the structural basis for a sustainable and inclusive European artificial intelligence centre for law enforcement. The popAI methodology includes analysis of the legal, ethical, social, and technical theoretical framework related to the use of AI tools in the security domain, as well as empirical research on AI tools in the security domain, creating awareness, social acceptance, and ethical engagement with an inclusive EU AI ecosystem. |
