A platform will be developed to facilitate forensic investigation aimed at analysing malware in the financial sector. This platform will create a software program designed to prevent cybercrime by extracting and analysing information available on the internet related to banking malware. This will enable the identification of fraud networks and their main perpetrators.

Summary

Project RAMSES aims to create a comprehensive digital forensic platform for Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs), in collaboration with the Municipal Police of Madrid. It will analyse internet data related to financial malware to enhance investigations. The project includes developing tools for internet forensics, conducting validation pilots in multiple EU countries, and assessing its commercial viability. RAMSES seeks to improve LEA investigations, develop innovative forensic tools, and demonstrate its impact through pilot exercises and awareness campaigns.
