Electronic notifications
In November 2020 we implemented the City Council's electronic notifications and communications system. NOTIFICAE (Notifications and Communications) allows for notification by appearance at Headquarters through My Folder and the Single Enabled Electronic Address (DEHú).
This has allowed us to increase the number of electronic notifications by a factor of 10 in just one year, providing, among others, the following benefits:
- Reduced travel for citizens.
- Decrease in the volume of face-to-face procedures carried out at headquarters.
- A saving in postal costs of around 750.000 euros.
- Stop emitting into the atmosphere the CO2 equivalent of 4.5 cars circulating for a year, avoid cutting down 67 trees or stop producing the daily solid waste of 750 people.
