International Action, Networks and International Organizations
The aim of the General Sub-Directorate (GS) for International Action, Networks and International Organizations is to promote the international action of the Madrid City Council in order to ensure a greater presence of our city in the world.
The main actions of the General Sub-Directorate are:
- To promote the international relations of the City of Madrid with other cities, organizations that operate in the local area, cities networks, entities and international organizations;
- To foster the presence and participation of Madrid City Council in the main multilateral spheres;
- To develop actions for the advocacy and promotion of solidarity and global citizenship;
- To carry out strategic alliances and collaborations with institutions, entities and international organizations with presence in the territory of Madrid.
